[GRAN 029] Tripmann & Sandrobianchi - The Lament

Los Grandes is back presenting a new collaboration from Tripmann and Sandrobianchi. Two brilliant tracks comfortably positioned somewhere between the most elegant slomo and effective deep house.

‘The Lament’ is about nostalgia riding over a perfect soulful groove. Elegant guitars, sleazy rhodes and midnight trumpets match as perfect companion for the mellow but strong vocals.

Fingerman’s mix speed up the tempo giving the track a full disco house treatment. The track becomes a total latin fiesta madness after the Brighton’s disco don refurbishment. Dancefloor heater.

‘Girl’ keeps the melancholy by using smart sampling, a cold but playful synth arpeggio, epic pads and strings; all that layered over a tremendous heavy bass and perc.

Dynamicron’s mix is about slowing things and turn the track into a more dark and electronic side. Somewhere among Nu Disco, Coldwave and Italo is this mix kicking around.

We hope you enjoy!

Juno Download review: "There's something deliciously laidback and sultry about "The Lament", the first collaborative single from Madrid-based producers Tripmann and Sandrobianchi. The track is built around a head-nodding, midtempo deep house groove, but it's the variety of sweet, sensual samples - think eyes-closed jazz guitar solos, bluesy vocals and hazy trumpets - that stand out. Fingerman's impressive remix injects a little extra energy via a sub-heavy bassline, sample cut-ups and heavy, bongo-laden disco percussion. The EP's undisputed highlight, though, is Dynamicron's remix of "Girl", which turns the woozy, sun-kissed original into a stylish, slightly intense chunk of Balearic disco crossed with exotic, new wave-era middle Eastern synth-pop."

Exclusively available on Junodownload on 20th October 2014.

[GRAN 028] Futurewife - Slash Fiction EP

Los Grandes produly presents the 4th EP from Seattle-born Futurewife brings a whole host of world genres into the proverbial kitchen for one lovely disco-mash. The three original tracks are taken constructed from the loop-laden meandering of his live sets and carefully arranged into 6 minute house jams. Sink your teeth into the one of America's most abstract & confusing house producers. All this with three fantastic remixes aside crafted by DynamicronHeion & Ali Jamieson.

We hope you enjoy!

Juno Download review:  "Here he delivers the belated follow-up, an expansive six-track set featuring three original productions and a trio of tasty remixes. His style - cut-up, eccentric and funky, with curious instrumentation and an unfussy joviality - is arguably best showcased by the wonky funk of "As Luck Would Have It", though the filter-heavy disco-house blast of "Come To Love" runs it close. Remix-wise, there are particularly good versions of "As Luck Would Have It" by Heion (baggy Balearic nu-disco) and Dynamicron, whose slowed-down interpretation sounds both strangely druggy and intensely sober. Either way, it's delightfully exotic and pleasingly humid."

Exclusively available on Junodownload on 12th May 2014.

[GRAN 025] Mosaik - We Found

http://www.junodownload.com/products/mosaik-we-found/2390481-02/?ref=losgrandes&utm_source=affiliate&utm_medium=affiliate&utm_campaign=affiliate_dashboard_referral

Los Grandes comes to 2014 with bearing a shiny EP from Macedonia, Mosaik 'We Found'.

The first track, 'We Found', is a silky deep disco beauty in where grooveness, analogic bass sound, soft vibes and an angelical voice match perfectly while riding over a bumping house percussion. A blissful, head nodding, daydreaming, sunset anthem.

Alexander Robotnick reshapes the main track into a massive club hitter using wisefuly plenty his analogue weaponry. An exciting electronic house acid disco journey contrived by the legend himself.

Dynamicron reworks 'We Found' driving the track to a even more emotional dimension helping himself with pianos and dramatic arragement.

Vladislav Mousteache Love brings the last version of 'We Found'. Reshaping the percussion, widing the space through delays, reverbs and filters, Vladislav, delivers a beutiful slowmo disco biscuit.

The last track, 'Hey Boogie', it's a pure slomo grooveness heater of the highest order. Hypnotic voodoo boogie spell.

The artwork has been designed by Maci Meow Chillkova.

Tracks 1,2,3 and 5 mastered by Roland Schwarz.

We'll be back to you soon with a new volume from the Black Lace compilations serie.

Juno Download review:  "Macedonian duo Mosaik hit it hard by releasing "We Found" on the mighty Los Grandes and roping in some heavyweights on remix duties. The original recalls that deep 80s silky smooth sound - all shiny chrome guitar licks, glowing neon Don't Look Any Further synths and added dreamy vocals. Italo disco hero Alexander Robotnik keeps the deep vibe but adds some light 303 attitude to the mix, label boss Dynamicron adds some electro-disco beats and Vladislav Moustache slows things right down for a great mong-out version. "Hey Boogie" slips vintage Janet Jackson some ketamine for some slo-mo funk results. Hot!"

Exclusively available on Junodownload on 3rd February 2014.

[VIVALOS 001] Viva Los Grandes EP

We think there's not better way to celebrate our first year than releasing our 12". We have put together two exclusive tracks never released before plus two well known tunes already digital released during 2012.

Dynamicron, presents ‘Play It!’ which is heavy with that block party 70’s/80’s feeling but revamped into a nowadays club crusher.

Future Feelings ‘Skylife’ was described by Juno as a “delightfully rubbery bass guitar grooves, with the former taking top billing thanks to some choice vocal samples and a loose electrofunk/disco fusion vibe”. It is one of the two tracks from his debut EP ‘Funk EP’, released by Los Grandes. Played by Julian Sanza, Dave Allison, Superbreak, Ilya Santana and is featuring on Junodownload Recomended Disco in October 2012 as well.

LTJ ‘All Ya Got’ it’s a burner of a groove. And we are more than glad of having to the master of the groove LTJ on this release wich such brilliant unreleased track. LTJ’s background and his consistency creating club hits (usually number ones on the sales charts) speaks by itself.

Heion’s cut, ‘Keep On Hiding’ is a blissful organic groove crafted by the Romanian genius Heion (aka Razvan Ghenciu originally included on Los Grandes compilation Black Lace Vol. 3 This track is one of the best sellers from the label and is supported by Dicky Trisco, Hotbox, Fingerman among many others.

Highlights this time include Brevil's sultry sweaty "Sexy", Vinyladdicted's shocking percussion-led rework of 'cough', Jimmy Nail's "Ain't No Doubt", PCJ's baddass 70s disco rock freakout "I Like The Sound", DJ Butcher's faithful take on Mister Flaggio's Italo disco masterpiece "Take A Chance", and Craxi Disco's seductive and proggy synth-disco epic "Jerusalem"."

[GRAN 009] Dynamicron - After Dusk

Los Grandes  presents the fifth EP from Dynamicron on the label. This time Dynamicron imprints his mark on three tracks wich are driven to a fully dancefloor use. From the third rework 'Just Wanna Love You Babe' at 90 BPM's, wich is perfect romantic warmer up, to the more uptempo cuts 'Highlighted', a 117 BPM's funky party anthem, and 'Wasted Luv', a 120 BPM's beast wich will unleash the madness on the dancefloor. Every track has been tested by well known dj's before its release and all the feedback has been more than positive.

Juno Download review: "After fiddling around with re-edits for the last few years, Dynamicron appears to finally be settling on an original production style of his own. While firmly disco-centric - see the delightfully over the top strings, pianos and horns of "Wasted Love" - it also includes nods to house and P-funk. There's something almost grungy and aggressive about the balls-out disco-rock-meets-P-funk of "Highlighted", while "Just Wanna Love Ya Babe" flips the script to offer some slo-mo, flute-laden AOR chugginess. A wildly varied EP that should enhance the Spanish producer's growing reputation."

With this release Los Grandes are waving their hands wishing you a great summer break. We will be back on September with new compilations and other artists releases that hopefully will delight you as much as they did for us. We will continue our monthly podcast serie, recently created, during this months though.
Have fun this summer!
